Organised and directed by Amelia Eisen, “Mingle Me Home” is an International Contemporary Dance Festival bringing professional dance artists and companies from around the globe to small towns in America. It took place for the first time December, 2018 in Nevada City, California at the Miners Foundry Cultural Center. The aim of the festival is to increase the understanding and accessibility of contemporary dance; this includes presenting a unique mixture of dance works in various performance settings and giving creative movement outreach workshops to the local public. “Mingle Me Home” enhances the development of artistic partnerships and strengthens the creative diversity of these small town communities.
